Emma Morgan's bestselling first novel, A Love Story for Bewildered Girls (Viking, 2019) was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize. She was part of WriteNow - Penguin Random House's scheme for writers underrepresented in publishing and is the recipient of a Northern Writers' Award for Fiction. She was born and brought up in Guernsey but now lives in Liverpool. Her second novel, Beggars Would Ride, will be published by Northodox Press in 2025.
