Gemma Telford runs her own marketing agency and has been shortlisted for a number of industry awards. Her son, Leo Telford, is studying Sociology at the University of East Anglia. Leo took part in a Sky News documentary about puberty blockers and has given presentations to companies such as Lloyds Bank and Sage on trans visibility. They both featured in the Transparent Love exhibition at the Southbank Centre in 2019 - a portrait series of trans children with their parent(s) taken by Amanda Searle. Their joint memoir, Between, will be published by Trigger Press in 2025.
