Jas Andersson is an award-winning journalist and writer who reports on social justice. Despite being the proudest member of Hull’s unofficial tourism board, she moved to London to pursue a career in journalism, where she worked as i newspaper's equalities reporter before joining the team at BBC News. Technically, she wrote her first book The Monkey Detective at the age of eight, but her parents have hidden the last remaining copy so as to keep her dignity intact.
